Coach departs NBC at 8.30am

Enjoy a relaxing day of sightseeing in the picturesque Southern Highlands taking in the beauty of Mittagong, Fitzroy Falls, and lunching at Burrawang Hotel on homemade morsels. After lunch we journey to Robertson (where the 1995 movie ‘Babe’ was filmed) and visit the infamous Pie Shop where you might like to purchase your evening meal.

Soul – Biennale at Cockatoo Island

We are going to the Biennale of Sydney – it is a free Art Festival held every 2 years in Sydney over various venues now in its 20th Year.

Meet: Wharf 4 Circular Quay

Time: 11.00am – Ferry departs at 11.35am

Depart for home: 4.00pm

Chris Green has opened his special effects workshop at Oakville.  Enjoy the picturesque surroundings while Chris takes us on a fun filled tour of robotic shows, skits and practical demonstrations of character creation. Sit back and let ‘Dusty D Dog’ entertain you with Aussie songs and tales of the Outback and ‘Jojo Ivory’ sing the blues or visit the unusual ‘doll collection’. Look behind the scenes at the wonderful world of animatronics and enjoy Chris’s 25 years of practical experience in the Christmas and entertainment industry.

Malcolm Gill is a lecturer in New Testament and Preaching at Sydney Missionary & Bible College. Married with three young children, he was serving as a pastor at St Barnabas Broadway, when he was diagnosed with cancer.

Welcome to our first outing for 2016 with Judith as our guide.  We will pass ‘Camelot’ the house used in ‘A Place to Call Home’ first then travel to the Wollondilly Heritage Centre which is a marvellous place with lots to see. Lunch will be at the Oaks Inn. After lunch Judith will take us on another history excursion as we hear of local people and their pioneer holdings and explore the district noted by Governor Hunter as being excellent for cultivation. Morning tea included.
