We have purchased 20 tickets to the Mountains on 2-3 August, please see Peter Thomas to book one of the tickets and to let him know if you will be staying at the motel on the Friday night. This is a great weekend of Bible teaching and a chance to encourage other men in knowing and following Christ. Chris currently serves as assistant minister at St Matthew’s West Pymble. He is the author of Down Not Out: Depression, Anxiety and the Difference Jesus Makes’ which explores how an identity in Christ impacts our thoughts, feelings and attitudes towards mental health. In addition, Chris is the Founding Director of Biblical Counsellors Australia, an interdenominational organisation which seeks to bring the truths of Scripture to all of life.

Guest speaker: Simon Bartlett

Come and hear the amazing story of Simon Bartlett who plays wheelchair rugby for NSW.

In 2007 Simon went to the beach and following a dive into the water he became a quadriplegic.

Simon will be interviewed and tell his story of the tragedy in 2007, his rehabilitation, the place of God in his life, and how his faith helped him move forward.

Men’s Breakfast – It’s not religion, it’s relationship

Guest Speaker: Ross Ciano
Saturday March 25 at 8am
Ross Ciano is a passionate Italian Australian who grew up Catholic in West Ryde. After reading the Bible at the age of 16 he was shocked to discover that following Jesus is about relationship with God, not religion. He reckons that trusting in Christ is the best decision he has ever made. Ross has worked in ministry in the UK and started Marrickville Road Church in 2009. He has spoken at a number of conferences including KYCK in Katoomba. Ross is married to Rachel and they have two sons; Luca and Matteo. He loves his mum’s lasagna, Sydney FC, and real coffee.
