John Lennox is Professor of Mathematics in the University of Oxford, Fellow in Mathematics and the Philosophy of Science, and Pastoral Advisor at Green Templeton College, Oxford.
He has lectured extensively in North America, Eastern and Western Europe on mathematics, the philosophy of science and the intellectual defence of Christianity.
He has debated Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens, and has written several books including God’s Undertaker: Has Science Buried God? He appeared last month on the ABC’s Q&A panel program and is speaking alongside John Piper at the Oxygen Conference and the One Saviour, One Life, One Night, Don’t Waste It evening.

Peakhurst High Scripture Board Supporters Dinner

Join us for the Annual Supporters Dinner, enjoying a pizza and pasta dinner at Monte Carlo’s Pizzeria in Riverwood. Meet with supporters from a variety of churches and hear from Matthew Hall, our new Scripture teacher, about the work at the high school. Cost is $35, and tickets can be purchased through the church office.

First Thursday Book Club

One to One Bible Reading by David Helm is a short, simple and accessible introduction to reading the Bible one-to-one which will help every Christian to gain confidence and skills in reading the Bible with others. Movie Club (Reel Fellowship)

Movie Club – Reel Fellowship is held at church, with the film starting at 7pm. On April 14, join us in watching The Invention of Lying followed by an open discussion on this movie and how it relates to our faith. Open to all aged 15+.

First Thursday Book Club

Thursday March 10 at 7.45pm (postponed one week)
This month we are re-visiting Tim Chester’s book ‘The Ordinary Hero, Living the Cross and Resurrection’ as many are reading it in conjunction with the Absolute Commitment series. Tim is a respected pastor and church planter from the UK. His books are well written, gospel-centred, and practical. If you have been reading this book we would love you to join us.
